Laser hair removal

care guide

Stay out of direct sunlight for 4–6 weeks before treatment and between sessions. Recently tanned skin cannot be treated due to the risk of pigmentation changes.

Stop using topical medications or active skincare products for 3–5 days before treatment if advised by your practitioner.

Do not wax, pluck, thread, or bleach the treatment area for 4–6 weeks before your appointment. Hair should only be removed by shaving.

Stop using self-tanning products at least 2 weeks before treatment and ensure any remaining tan has been completely removed.

Arrive with clean skin that is free from makeup, lotions, deodorant, oils, perfumes, or other skincare products.

Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment for the most effective treatment.

Mild redness and swelling around the hair follicles are normal and may last for up to 2–3 days. The area may feel like a mild sunburn.

Choose loose-fitting clothing to minimise friction and help prevent irritation.

Apply a soothing gel such as Aloe Vera if needed to calm the treated area.

Makeup can be applied after treatment only if the skin is not irritated.

Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid sunbeds for at least 4 weeks after treatment.

Apply SPF 30 or higher every day and keep the treated area covered whenever possible.

Hair shedding and patchy regrowth are normal. Only shave between treatments, never wax, pluck, or thread.

For 24–48 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise, and activities that generate excessive heat.

Do not use exfoliants or chemical peels on the treated area for at least 1 week.

Self-tanning products can be used after 48 hours, provided the skin is no longer red or irritated.

Avoid scratching, rubbing, or picking at the treated skin while it heals.
