Skin Laser Treatments
Laser technology can also be effectively used in the treatment of ageing skin. Excellent results have been achieved for general skin rejuvenation on both the face and body.
The Skin Rejuvenation procedure is intended for the treatment of:
- Benign vascular lesions such as broken capillaries, spider veins and rosacea.
- Pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun spots and brown marks.
Both can cause the skin to have an uneven colour tone and therefore may cause the skin to appear prematurely aged. The Gentle Max Pro device can deliver laser light at wavelengths ideally suited to the treatment of these problems of colour, as they are easily absorbed by haemoglobin and melanin without affecting the surrounding skin.The targeted vascular or pigmented lesions absorb the laser energy, raising the temperature of the target tissue resulting in an overall improved skin colour.
Patients will notice an improvement after the initial treatment, but a course may be required to fully treat the condition.
